Very rare Goldscheider Vienna figurine of the 1930s: Representation of a standing elegant lady in a long, beige, green checked dress with stepped flounces, matching hat and green gloves, holding a Pekingese in her  arm and offering him a treat with her left hand.  On the floor stands a second dog with an attentive look. based on a black, slightly cambered, stepped round plinth, the artist's signature 'Lorenzl' on the underside.

Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 - 1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920 - 1940. This Model 7037 was created circa 1934/35.
